Vegan Poutine

I had a big plate of vegan poutine for lunch today at Loving Hut.  It was awesome.  If you don't know what poutine is, it's fries with gravy and cheese.  I didn't know what it was before I moved to Canada, either.  It's super tasty and Loving Hut is the only place that I know of where I can get a vegan version.  I've found lots of places to get fries and veggie gravy, which rules even on its own, really.

  3. vegiebug, you are SO right! There is are a couple of poutine places around Vancouver that are open really late and have vegan gravy. It's my absolute favorite thing to have after a night out on the town just before heading home. Though I have been known to just eat them in the cab on the way home, too. haha.

Who would have thought?! I thought poutine was weird when I first moved here, but now I've seen the light.
